Alright folks, I just picked up a 2000 D2 with 65K miles at a great deal. It runs fine above 1500, but the CEL is blinking and has a rough idle. It's giving me misfire codes on multiple cylinders along with a catalyst damaging misfire code and a low fuel misfire code. Here is my initial diagnostics:

It looks like I will have to check out the valves on cylinder 6 and 8. Since they're neighbors I'm also assuming that there is a head gasket leak around there. So I guess my question is - being new to the LR world - what is my next step? Does the 4.0 have adjustable valves or is that an unlikely scenario for these things?
