this is driving me nuts i have a 2002 disco started and ran fine one day next day it starts runs for 1-2 seconds and dies. has no codes, has 50 psi fuel pressure, it will continue to run if i spray starting fluid but dies without. the fsct that it will start without fluid but die and if i put fluid to it it will run fine for as long as i spray sounded to me like fuel related, so i put gauge on it and it has 50 psi at rail. any ideas?

Stop using starter fluid before you ruin the engine. Codes are stored by sensors sending info to the control unit that parameters are out of bounds, no sensor input to control unit, no code. Look for a bad or poor ground, if you have done anything to the truck, re-visit and check your work.
