Nice Disco! My only suggestion is to ditch those OEM GoodYears! I am kicking myself everyday now that I didn't do it sooner.

None-the-less, bring on the pictures!

BTW, I noticed on your other pics that you are about due for your 45K service. OUCH! Let us know how much they are charging for that in your neck of the woods.

hmm i think it was just in land rover for service on the backseat which kept squeaking! damn thing annoyed me but they replaced the whole thing free of charge, or it was under warrenty either way. I think its been replaced 2x now.

Its been to land rover about 2 months ago so maybe I got an early 45,000 mile check up. haha

but yea the Land Rover dealership in Anaheim Hills, Ca is very nice. Just sort of curious why when smoke started to come out of the LR's exhaust i ran up to EZ-Lube and they recommended if I leave there they give me a tow trucking company's number. I declined saying Land Rover takes care of me with roadside assistance thank you, but seriously they were checking the oil and it was 3 qts. low. Plus the oil was as black as you can get and sludgey, so they say in a written report which I'm going to send to Land Rover to ask why the oil was so bad if it was just serviced not 1-2 months ago. See im new to the whole car/suv thing since I just got my license on December 1st 2004, 6 months after I turned 16. My friends love riding in my baby, haha.

but yea i'll let you know how much it costs, I'll have to ask my step-dad who takes care of the more expensive things, and I just pay a butt load for gas and oil changes out here in california.

My Disco drinks 60 dollars away easy, it'll go up to 65.00 soon since gas just bounced 25 cents higher. I'm getting 91 Premium Unleaded for 2.59 a gallon and its expected to go above 3 dollars by April. What i need to do is stock up on gas cans and fill them all up when it used to be like 2.09 a few months ago haha.

My 02 had the same issue with the back seats. They replaced the seat frames and all is well. $2.32 a gallon here for premo so I feel your pain. (only difference is that I am a little more seniored in my career so it doesn't take too much of my budget to keep the tank full, but what would I give to be 14 years younger!)

Man I cant believe gas is so damn expensive!!! I am going to be getting my license in a while but I might vere from a Land Rover if gas is going to be so Expensive. I was just wondering has anybody heard of a tuning/chip that can lower the required octane in the engine needed to run properly. I saw one on TV on TRUCKS...its a good show. But just wondering if they make one for land rover or how you all feel about it. I live in Louisville KY and our gas prices are like 2.19 for premo. Go to this website its really cool helps with gas http://www.louisvillegasprices.com/retail_price_chart.aspx
you can change the state and time change. :drive:

Plan your trips!

I hear your pain on the gass price kid, but I have you beat!! I pay $2.36 on base in Hawaii and that is for 92 octan. I drive over 300 miles a week and I can do it on one take of gass. First plan your trips. Do them after the traffic goes down. When startting up after a red light. Watch your tachometer. Try to keep it below 2K untill the shift up. Keep your speed below 65 MPH, install a K&N air filter. And get your friends to chip in on the gass. I am sure they will start to take the buss when you hit them up for a 10 spot ever time they want to drive around by the mall.
