I have been reading a bunch of posts about removing and cleaning the oil separator in the right side v/c. My problem is when I pulled the hose off, the fitting on the v/c is closed at the top except for a small hole. I put a pick in the hole and there is something close to the top and I suspect it's the separator. From what I have found this style was used on the 2003-2004 4.6 Disco and other posts say it can be cleaned and removed I just need to know how......THANKS!!!!

Leave it alone. if it is dirty or plugged, spray carb cleaner on it a couple of time.
