After doing a search and reading multiple postings on the correct plugs for my 2004 Disco, I'm more confused than ever. Which Bosch Platinum Plus 4 spark plug do I use? I see 4418 and 4468 part numbers. Or, is there a better plug to use. I will be replacing the wires with a Kingsborne set.

Thank you.

The problem I had was after 12-15k mi. Any Bosch not just the +4s ran like crap. Those 12-15k mi when new though... it ran better than any spark plug. Ive had better luck with NGK than champion too. Keep in mind i've owned my rover 70k mi...only a few years. I didn't even give Bosch a chance from past exp and echoed here in forums. Im on NGK for 40k since change. Champions were in it when I bought it...I replaced them with chmp then 10k or so later swapped to NGK.

The OEM recommended plugs are Champion Platinum. I use them on my truck and have never had any ignition-related faults, they run great.

Bosch works for some, Champion for others, some like NGK, etc. If your car is running fine, just replace in kind whatever you already have in there.

Copper is hands-down the best plug material for naturally aspirated motors. It doesn't last as long as the exotic stuff, but you can't beat it in terms of consistent spark quality. Even the Pt & Ir plugs use copper cores. Additional electrodes are also overkill. If you don't mind swapping plugs every 30K miles, copper is a good choice.
