I'm looking for help/advice on a radio issue. My Harman Kardon stock head unit now refuses to turn on at all after working fine just the other day. I've checked all the fuses below the steering wheel and didn't see any blown, I've tried leaving the key in the on position for about 45 minutes to see if that would help, but it still won't power on. The interesting thing is that when I press the button to flip the face of the unit down (like you were going to insert a CD), I can see that the green lights on either side of the CD slot illuminate properly.

Does anyone have any ideas on what would cause this head unit not to suddenly not power on? Does it have any fuses on the back of the unit I need to check or would trouble with the stock amp keep it from powering on?

Pull the stereo and check the switched 12v. If you see the illumination it sounds like the constant 12v is good but the switches may be bad. Possibly is a fuse on the back of the head unit too
