Hello Folks:
Hope everyone is enjoying the last Holiday of this Summer. I have noticed that my RR is accumulating water whenever I run it through the car wash or after a heavy rain water pours out from the rear doors. While no water is seeping inside the passenger compartment this does not seem normal.
Further research I discovered that this situation was reported here:

I just found the following notice on National Highway Traffic Safety Administration site ( Vehicle Owners | Safercar -- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) ). Can anyone help me get the actual bulletin?

Make : LAND ROVER Model : RANGE ROVER Year : 2006
Manufacturer : LAND ROVER
Service Bulletin Num : 501012 Date of Bulletin: MAR 14, 2006
NHTSA Item Number: 10019760
Component: STRUCTURE:BODY
Summary:
POSSIBLE CAUSES AND RESOLUTION OF WATER INGRESS - PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. *TT

Apparently there is a misalignment of the rear doors that when aligned properly the problem is corrected. That being said, what are folks like us which have no warranty on our vehicles due to age are to do to correct this problem?
Any thoughts from anyone who has had this problem?
Welcome any remarks or possible solutions.
Have a wonderful day all.
Cheers
Lou
