Recently my 2006 RRSs A/C system started to sound very loud and like the bearing on the blower motor was going out. I figured it was time to get a new blower motor and so I ordered one. Before it arrived I was driving and I started to smell smoke from the vents and so I shut it off. After a bit I tried to start it up and it wouldn't blow air. I removed the blower from beneath the dash and tried to turn it on and see if it would move at all when still hooked up. When I turned on the cooling system it spun for a quick second then turned off. Once my new blower got in I did the same test and still did the same thing which rules out it being the blower motor itself. Not sure what else it could be. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what this sounds like?

Put a multimeter on the leads to the blower motor. Maybe voltage is low
