The back end has a lot of design cues from the RRS which I like. It's supposed to be a bit longer and a bit wider. I just hope the longer wheelbase doesn't mess up the breakover angle too much. The approach and departure angles look to be about the same as the current Freelander.

The real key will be the engine/tranny combinations available in the US; suspension and terrain response; and overall gearing vs a low range IRD. And of course it has to plow new ground on reliabiity and quality.

Time will tell. :D
