Does anyone know the location of the backup sensor module in the 2010 LR2? Mine is broken (I hear the long beep when I turn my car on) and I would like to be able to replace it without having to go to the dealer, as the closest Land Rover dealership is quite a long way away. Thanks.

The module is located in the left rear cargo area behind the trim panel, however I doubt that is your issue.

It is usually a sensor or the harness that causes the fault, and the ECU is working properly letting you know that there is a fault.

When the system is active, you should be able to hear a very faint clicking noise from each sensor with your ear up against it.

If there is one that is not making noise, then that is your problem area, however it could still be the harness or the sensor, and would need further investigation.

If none of them are making noise, then it is most likely a harness issue, causing a power supply fault.
