I recently had my battery go dead. I replaced the battery and now the LR2 wont turn over. I push the button and nothing happens. Every thing else works, lights come on ect..... Maybe a fuse or something.... Start button lights up....

Any thoughts?

Crash mode, it will need to be reset with a computer before it will allow crank.

Sometimes, if the CJB has reset crash mode status already, just clearing faults with a generic scanner will do the trick, as the PCM will kill cranking when it has a stored crash status fault.

Does this happen all the time or do you just get unlucky? I replaced battery last year and had no problems.

Only sometimes. It won't happen when the battery is just disconnected, but will sometimes when it discharges slowly, and the computers are 'turned on' with low voltage. Things get confused, and don't communicate correctly.

Thanks for the help, I brought it down to my local shop and they reset the computer. The nearest Land Rover Dealer is 2 hours away.
