Okay, I'm a noobie. Do I have to have the oil changed by the dealer?
Bought the oil filter (have no idea where the canister is) and Caterol full syn 5W-50 (9 qts). Removed the skid plate. Looks like the drain plug is located below the front trans-axle. Am I even close?
can anyone give me some pointers?:dunno:

With general tools and mechanic skills you can do it. I'd go on eBay and try to find a oil change kit that comes with air filter cabin filter oil filter and new drain plug. You'll save close to 100$ if you can find the kit. I sure did. But yes remove skid plate, oil filter then drain plug. Careful the oil kinda shoots out when you remove the plug. It doesn't drip out. The only issue I had was the servce reminder reset can only be done at a qualified repair shop with computer interface. You can do it, no prob!! G'luck!
