There are plenty of inverters avaiable to go from 24 to 12 volt, but not so many to go the other way, and those are generally low current/ wattage units. How much power do you need? To run high wattage transceivers, you may be better off using a second battery, and manually switch your series/parrallel connections for charging. There are aircraft units to go from 12 to 24 volts, but they are small and don't handle alot of current, apart from being expensive.
Are you intending on changing the whole vehicle system, or just to have a source for 24 volts for a single application?

Personally, I'd stay away from this one. You would have to run two batteries and connect them in series. Charging two batteries in series is not the same as charging two batteries in parallel. Eventually, one will be always undercharged, the other overcharged (not a good thing for batteries). It will be a little while before you realise why one of your batteries keeps failing. Then, you would have to run the rest of the vehicle's electrics off the 12v side of the battery which is the one that is undercharged.

Just a thought on my previous post.....to solve part of the problem, you could carry two batteries wired in series (not connected to the charging system) to operate your radio. You would have to re-charge them via a battery charger, separately. Don't leave them connected.

12 to 24 DC/DC Inverters

Go to www.ABSOPULSE.com for either inverters or converters.

You can go with a low wattage unit to use as a vehicle powered charger for a pair of 12 batteries (in series) or, if cost is no object, get one of their high wattage units to power the radio directly.

Don't attempt to use the vehicles battery as one of the two series connected batteries, because you will have an earthed center leg and then the inverter and radio will have to be floated from the chassis ground, and there's always the chance of grounding either the inverter or radio, and cooking the inverter.

If the radio is something like a PRC-25, or PRC-77, there used to be special power supply cards available from a company called Fair Radio Sales, but that was a while back, and they probably sold everything they had. Apart from that, they would need an export license to sell the item to you.
