Hello all

I have a 2000 discovery with 156k miles now and recently I have noticed that my truck will sometimes delay the 4th gear shift until im going 50+ at 3200 RPM. It only does this with the 4th gear and it doesn't always behave in the same manor. It seams that if i drive it more then 20 minutes or if im driving it a little harder then normal it will have this issue. I have also noticed the shift from 3rd to 4th under acceleration is not always a smooth one.

I should also mention that I replaced the ATF some time last year. however i did not replace the filter.

Do you have a service engine light on, if so what are the fault code numbers. Have you checked your fluid level and color is it bright red or brownish?

I have no light and haven't had any codes for a while now. I will check it again to see but last I checked it was a bright red. Even when I changed it at year it was bright red.
