My 93 County will not start on the first try. It will crank normally but not fire up. If you turn the key off and back to crank it will almost always fire up the second time. When I got it it would not run at all. I replaced the coil wires and dist module and got it to run.It has codes for o2 sensors but not sure if that would do it

Check your battery, ignition coil, starter and look to see if the wire to the ignition coil is plugged in properly. I have the same year and the exact same thing happened to mine. For me it was a bad distributor and alternator and battery....Once i replaced those then everything worked fine. The next thing I have to change is the O2 sensor (code 44)....you can get them at http://www.OXYGENSENSORS.COM...you have to put in your vehicle info and it will give you the right one for you. Hope that helps

You can check Fuel Pump, and also it may be due to failures of the Ignition Amplifier Module and the Engine Control Module (ECM). Failure of the Fuel Pump or the Ignition Amplifier Module may prevent the vehicle from starting.

As posted earlier...fuel pump. This happened to mine when the aftermarket fuel pump could not maintain the fuel pressure at the fuel rail...took the steps to start it. I replaced the pump and have not had any more issues
