Hey y;all,

On the 95 disco rear bumper there are 2 reflectors any 1 ever put aux lights in those spaces for backing off roading ?? I know there are rear lights already but there red Just curious gonna try it this weekend I found a set that will fit in there just curious about mounting them let me know..

Aren't those your rear fog lamps you are refering too?

No, the fog lamps are in the rear tailight along with the brake light. He's talking about the reflectors. I think it's a good idea to replace the reflectors with two backup lights. You could probably put some reflective tape on the bumper 'cause I think you need a reflector on the bumper (legal reasons)...

The heck with the LAW>>> I am gonna give it a shot this weekend .Found a pair of lights for 20 bucks that will fiti n the open with 1/8 inch on both sides just got look at them to see how to mount bracket Snowing like a heck up here in Vermont .Was so excitied too MUDDy yesterday and mud seasons coming up.. Well, what happens if you have a flat tire at night on a dark road in Vermont and there is no shoulder for you to pullover.... some soccer mom doesn't see you're Rover and smashes into it killing her and her 2 sons/daughters???!!! Get the picture?

I think it's more of a safety issue than a legal issue. Just my opinion.

True True.... But I own 3 vehicles and none of them have reflectors on bumper .. Thats what 4 ways are for an anyways I have a emergency kit anyways with triangles wasnt trying to be iresponsible just trying to make my Disco different.

As far as I know, somebody else correct me if I'm wrong, on Disco l's from '96-up, (the ones with the amber part on the tail light lenses by the sides of the tail gate), the reflectors/lights on the bumper have an amber/yellow area that light up with the turn signals in the upper tail lights, but there are also LIGHT BULBS in the red part of the reflectors, and if the contacts are properly cleaned, they light up real nice with your parking lights, so be shure to check them to see if they are working.On '94 and early '95s ,(the ones with the tail light lenses all-red by the sides of the tail gate), have the fog lamps on the bumper, as Disco ll's.I don't remember if it is this way,or the other way around for later Disco's.I have seen a couple Disco l's with those lights not working just because people don't know about these lights and assume that the only tail lights are the ones by the sides of the tail gate.
