I just bought a 95 Disco and I can't shift it to low range, I can shift it from high to the left to lock, but can't move it forward to low range? The previous owner, never took the truck 4wheeling.

What can I do to fix it? Is it something easy to fix or would I have to take it to a Land Rover mechanic for repairs.

It's probably seized, you will have to make sure all shafts are lubed:

I have to shift mine while in neutral then put it in drive while the alarm is still going off and push it into low range while in drive.
