If I ever need to disconnect the battery from our 96 disco, will it cause any issues with the factory car alarm? Such causing the alarm to immobilize the rover even after the battery is reconnected? I was just wondering, just in case if I ever need to disconnect it to work on it.

Im mostly familiar with 87-95 RRC's, and I know the disco 1's are pretty similar to them with exception to the alarms on the 96-99s.

Thanks!

AS long as it's not armed when you disconnect it, no, it won't.

Somehow my last sentence went away.
If it's armed first, it will sound when you reconnect, but that's fixed the same way you would if you open the passenger door with the key when armed.
