I have a 97 range rover 4.6. I bought it not driving because of a supposed fire in the fuse box, fuse box replaced but now the ingition will crank on it's own with no key in the ingition or any one trying to start it.
Update it stopped it's self cranking and now will not turn over at all, battery is fully charged..... I am at a lost.

Sounds like Body Electrical Control Module.

We had one years ago that would run until it ran out of fuel, even with the battery disconnected.

New BeCM and it was sorted.
