I bought a 98 disco and it has a cassette stereo in it. I see there is a bracket and wiring under the seat. it looks like it's for a CD changer. Would that stereo work the changer? i don't see CD on it and did not get the owners manual. if it does could somebody tell me how I have one being shipped to me soon.

Plug it in under the seat, the OE stereo will recognize it, push BAND to cycle through FM-FM-CD-AM

You also have a weatherband on your factory radio, just hold the am button for a couple seconds( I don't remember well if this was the procedure though), and the weatherband should pop-up.

Yes mine does. I believe that the '99 (mine) and the '98 (yours) are the same radio w/ the WB button.
