I am using my phone as I have no other means of internet access on my current work assignment for the next few months.

I have the EBC brake kit from AB on the Rover now.
19,000 miles later I am metal to metal.

I have the pads and rotors and want to do the rubber lines at the same time.

The issue is, I am seeing that there are 6 flexible lines on a few sites.
When I search for kits, I see four or five hoses in a kit.

I don't need the stainless, but have seen rubber lines (with and without the "spring" wrapping) for about $45 each.

Rockauto has hoses for around $10, and I would like to get all I need and not find out that I need more.

So, just how many rubber hydraulic hoses are on a 99 Disco1 SD?

Anywhere sell a complete kit?

Thank you, in advance.

Had to find a library to access the net on a real computer.
Too bad the only one working has a bad "D" key. I have to press it hard.

Here is one place I see mentioning SIX hoses for a Discovery 2.
I need Disco 1, an cannot find a definitive answer.

JE Robison Service — the blog: Brake Failure - don't ignore the lines!

"The picture below shows the cure for this car – a set of high performance braided stainless brake hoses from our friends at AtlanticBritish. This hose kit is half a day to a day’s work to install depending on rust – there are a total of six flex hoses on a Discovery. If your steel lines are rusty, the job can expand dramatically."

And from Rockauto:

CENTRIC Part # 15028300 Brake Hydraulic Hoses Rear; SD Model
$10.78

CENTRIC Part # 15028003 Brake Hydraulic Hoses Front; SD Model
$11.64

Would I just need two of each of those listed above?

It seems there are four different hoses for the Disco2

DORMAN Part # H620272 {#ANR1765}
Front Left; SD Model
Front Right; SD Model

This is indicating to me that they are the same part number for each front wheel. So I would need this part number X's 2, minimum

There's 2 flex lines for the front, two for the rear. RovahFarm has the SS braided kits for $70 for all four lines.

I was in a rush and am closer to AB so ordered from them.

Only to have one thing after another pop up in life. So, the brake job took about 1.5 months.

The rear lines... the one closer to the drivers side was such a PITA.
Rusted and possibly cross threaded.
I popped the hard line off, held the rear with a combo wrench and stuck socket on the nut on the inside where the hard line was... It fought me EVERY crank of the ratchet
