The wording above is wrong - it is the SRS light; not SLS. No code showing but the SRS light is on. I believe it comes on when there is something stored on the passenger seat and the seatbelt is not fastened. But there is nothing there now. It will pass emissions - yes??

What could be the cause?

3 Possibilitys,
dirty connections at the 2 front seat belts, low charging rate, should be between 13.6 and 14.4 volts or failing spiral ring.
Sorry, can't fix your title.
