Parked truck on level paved lot. When I started it again, the green hill descent light began flashing and it is going bing-bing-bing. (Green light looks like the truck outline angled down to the left with a line below - assume this is hill descent). Will not go off. I was not driving on any hill; restarted the engine, ran it in reverse. Flashing light and binging noise will not go away. Drove five miles home with it flashing and binging like crazy.

Anyone know what could be the problem? Could the front driveshaft be going?

Thx.

Problem resolved. I had hit the Hill Descent button unknowingly. Punched it again and the problem went away. Took a lot of searching in the manual to find it.

Green light indicates no problem. Amber light means there is a problem. My light was green.
