My air compressor seems to be running on the warm side (fairly hot to the touch) and it makes a buzzing sound which I can hear when I am driving. Otherwise the air suspension works fine. Is the compressor on the way out or is it something simpler? Could the bushings the compressor is sitting on be worn, so it is hitting the enclosure?

I believe the compressor may get warm but not necessarly hot. It shouldn't be running when you are driving which leads me to think that maybe you have an air leaks which is making the pump run way to much, which will kill it.
Sounds like you need to check for an air line or bag leak. Make sure the pump cycles you to the correct height and shuts off.
Good luck,
Mike J.
