Anti theft, locks down the vehicle with something moving (ie, your own dog) once you leave your vehicle.

Big hassle, I've never tested mine but haven't seen the need to!
Actually it's a sensor part of the volumetric alarm, it doesnt lock anything, if the vehicle is locked with the fob and alarm active it senses air movement in the vehicle and triggers the alarm if let's say somenbody brakes a window, when yoy leave dogs in the car it must be locked with the key in the lock instead of the fob cos in that case the volumetric alarm is disabled as to not go off when the dogs are moving... i disabled mine with tester cos i always forgot to lock with the key when i left the sunroof opened then if it was windy the alarm went off all the time
