For the last few years on my 1999 series 2 I have been told I have a leaky ACE hose, I usually put about a half can of fluid in every 6 months and all is well. In the past when it was low if I made a hard right and sometimes left turn the ACE light would flash and chime. Its started again but the tank which has the ACE fluid seems full, now the other side of the tank which I guess is power sterring seems a bit low? Are they the same? I havent fixed the so called hose because its not a warranty item and they tell me $1500 or so. But my question is is there a sensor or something in there that could be the culprit and not a leaky hose? Thank you.
