i found this site. with harnesses to go to the amp.

I have the harmon/kardon sound system so I have the built in amp right? Where is the amp etc? Most Cd players have preamp outs with RCA jacks. does the h/k amp have RCA jacks? I'm just a little confused as to why crutchfield doesn't have a kit to add a cd player on the disco ii with h/k sound system.

what year is your rover??...alot of the older radio heads in every car don't have rca jacks...however the newwer ones are startin to have em.....as for the amp...my 97 disco is behind the passenger foot panel.....but what are you trying to wire???? i'm not sure that the factory amp has rca jacks....in fact i think it doesn't.....i know i put more powerful speakers in mine and had to get a new amp ....there is an rca converter ...it's really a pain though....all those little wires have to be spliced into the converter

Yeah,

Your amp is located under the drivers seat (Disco 2) No, RCA's are not available on any Rover product, at least from the factory.

Your D2 is already prewired for the changer, surprised it didn't come with one!
