Hi

I have LR2 2014 HSE model. I am facing a weird problem. When i start the engine in the morning, the back rest of the seat adjust automatically a few cms though the memory is already set. When i turn off the engine the same happens in reverse i.e. the back rest of the seat adjust backwards by a few cms. I took it to the service agent but they could not detect such movement in the seat during their testing.

Also, i initially start the engine and move from parking lot and slowly accelerate once reaching the main road. Just before the transition from slow to normal speed, there is some "whoosing noise" . it appears as if the engine is adjusting for something and this is not heard after a decent speed is achieved (30-40 kmph).

Did any one encounter such issues with their car and appreciate if the diagnosis can be shared.

I noticed the same thing when I got my 2014 LR2 last year. The slight movement back is LR's attempt at having the seat automatically go back so the driver can exit the vehicle more easily. It should go back further (depending on where your memory seat setting is set), but they didn't design correctly. The sales person said it had been fixed in the 2015 model, but could not be corrected in the 2014.
