Hi, yesterday i disconnected the battery in my 95' discovery in an attempt to input the radio code. I disconnected the negative cable to the battery and left it off for about two hours. When i came back and tried to reconnect the battery the alarm would automatically go off--and it would not respond to the key in the ignition. I then disconnected the postitive end of the battery and waited for about an hour--the same result occured, everytime the connection to the battery was completed the alarm would just turn on. Has anyone ever heard of this? How do i fix it???? Currently i am parked in a "metered" lot so if i cannot get the car started i am looking at a pretty big ticket. PLEASE Help!!
