Waterpump Swap...Change timing chain too?

Had a fun incident last night. After putting a fresh thermostat and hose assembly on my Disco (she has 96K on her) my battery light comes on at a red light, power steering bogs down, just before the temp shoots way up. Of course, I pulled over immediately. Pretty sure my water pump seized. (I had been smelling coolant and couldn't figure out why.)

I'm wondering though, if there is any reason i should change the timing belt while I am down there. I bought her her about 10K miles ago and doubt it's been changed.

Of course, I don't want to spend two days working on it either but would appreciate some input/insight.

Thanks

The camshaft is driven via a timing chain, no toothed belt in there :) The chain is good for 150000 miles usually and then the cam timing gets a bit sloppy. Timing chains breaking in service, even when well worn, is not a common occurrence.
