hello, I,m new to this, I have a 1996 discovery and I have been getting "p1179 amfr maximum negative value" any suggestions?

There are similar threads pointing to the air flow sensor OR more likely a restricted air intake. Could be a plugged air filter ?
Also talk about re usable air filter (k&n or similar) causing contamination of the airflow sensor
What filter are you using and what condition is it in?
