Hello all. My name is Chris. I just bought a 99 Disco II and it has a really nice Safety Devices Highlander rack and (4) Hella Black Magic lights on top. The rack has also been coated with Rhino Liner for durability. It's a really nice setup, but the problem is that it will not fit into my garage, so it has to go. Does anyone have any suggestions for selling it in the Atlanta area? Any Land Rover clubs, etc? Thanks.

When you say "it", I am assuming you mean the roof rack and not the car, right ?
Well, my first suggestion is that you get a chainsaw and enlarge the garage door opening. If your wife has less appreciation for Land Rovers, than she does garage doors, my next suggestion would be to park it outside. If that is not an option (sigh, I tried) put it on ebay. Those racks, though noisy, are about the nicest ones out there, and anyone withing a few hundred miles will gladly drive to you and pick it up. But, before you do, give my idea about the chainsaw some thought.

Seems a shame to sell a great rack and lightset that you will ALWAYS use if you ever use your disco for what it was bred for!

T has it right - CHAINSAW!!! :buttrock: or park outside like I do... No biggie :D

dood, those racks arent cheap. I second the idea of "making" the rover fit into the garage. Chain saw, axe, whatever it need be. Or just throw the wife up there in the rack and drive around with her on it so she sees how cool it is. Just tell her it'll be like driving on an african safari. :)
