I have a squeaking sound coming from under the hood just after the truck has been started for the first time each day. The squeaking goes away eventually, but I am suspecting the noise is coming from the belt tensioner pulley. I'd like to just replace the bearing if possible. Does anyone know the size fo the bearing?

My vehicle is a 1996 Land Rover Discovery SE. V8 gas with air.

Thank you!

Many pulleys may be giving their warning. Remove your belt and rotate all by hand and replace the suspect ones. Don't forget the alt, H20 pump and ac clutch. Most folks just replace pulley especially the tensionerer that's so cheap. You can pull them off and get PN off bearing once clean or Goggle. Easy.
