Has this ever happened to anyone else? When engine is cold, after starting, if I press the brake pedal engine immediately dies (WTF?) :confused

It's a 2000 TD5. I have not checked the Vacuum line from the booster to the manifold (Is the diesel version even set up this way?) No service engine light but I did run diagnostics (Bearmach) and there are no faults.
