look under the topic I just posted, i had the same problem. It was nothing to do with the brake pads, your abs sensor line is messed up. Good thing is that a DII is alot cheaper to fix then a D1, the part is about 80 bucks. LandRover will charge you anywhere form 80-100 for the diagnostic to see which sensor it is, labor should be around 2 hrs.
About the clock, just reset the dam thing, use a tooth pick to set it. To reset your temp, hold the two outside button on your climate control and it will set it to fahrenheit, the default is celsius so that is why it swiched to that when you were messing with the battery.
