Just make sure you order up the hub seals and all that- you don't wanna get the thing torn apart and then not have everything to put it back together. Also, avoid no-name rotors and pads. The rotors that come on Land Rovers from the factory are Lockheed/Delphi... same for pads, with the addition of Ferodo. We do a fair amount of brake jobs on Rovers where the owner bought cheapo stuff and then they warped, squeal constantly or both.

I need new brakes on my 96 disco 1.I am thinking of doing them myself -any advice.I was told by local shop that rotors are usually replaced not turned on rovers? Thanks
