I'm preparing my Defender for an Overlanding trip. I had to find a solution to store the second house battery (the first house battery is underneath the driver's seat next to the starter battery).

So, I build this compartment using 12 mm plywood, some carpet, and the little handle is a piece of latching strap.
Happy with the result! The last picture is the before.

Sweet! Just make sure you have a vent hose on it that goes outside. They let off some nasty gases while charging.
