I WANT THAT FOR MY DISCO!!! but i have a lowly D1 and it dosent look like they make one for my D1 only for the D2...no offense to anyone but i hate the boxy type look of the D1 ARB winch bumper...i have yet to see a nice winch bumper for a D1...basically im looking for a winch/bullbar/brushgaurd...oh yeh THAT LOOKS GOOD!

Personally I like the bar on the D1 (because I'm biased). Here's what I did with mine. I turned the bull bar into an air receiver for my air compressor. you will notice on the righthand side of the picture an air coupling. This is for pumping up tire etc. At the base of that downward tube that the air coupling is attached too(not visible in photo), is a condensate bleed nipple. On the otherside (not in photo) instead of a bleed nipple, an air hose is connected that leads to the air horns. So while the D2 bar looks good, it can't be utilised for anything else.

I have to say this though...my intent on getting the bull bar is (hope this never happens) to save the trucks front end, but the biggest reason being to save my girlfriends life if a head on or front end crash ever happens. This being the key factor, the ARB bars are the only one that I have noticed to built with airbags in mind. Are their other brands? Just wonering.

personally i think the bull bars at come from the factory or landrover are a PoS. IMO it's just a very expensive place to put your lights. if you want something sturdy and can handle knocks and such, get something aftermarket like the arb's, rovertyme safari etc
hopefully i didn't offend anyone
take care

if you want a winch and want to keep your factory bull bar, DAP has couple of choices that will fix under the the front bumper. problem is you'll lose out in your approach angle by quite abit
take care
