I asked the RTE guys if their bumpers were air bag compatable and they said they have not tested them for that. The bumpers mount directly to the frame, does anyone in here know if the air bags are still functional with a RTE bumper?

Yes, they are still functional. The only thing that may happen is that they may deploy faster than an "air-bag compatible" bumper. The crush cans that say a TJM/ARB/Stock has just absorb the energy of the crash better. Non air-bag compatible bumpers just mean that they didn't test them.

Nah i've never heard of that happening.. I've never heard of anyone hitting anything while wheeling and having airbags deploy.. I've hit my TJM pretty damn hard before and no problems
