I am getting new plug wires in and I was wondering do I need to change the coil out as well. I haven't found anything that says I should. any and all comment would be most helpful.

You might want to go ahead and change them so that you won't have to worry about them later on

Was there symptoms? Choppy idle, reduced power, rough acceleration? Or do you have high miles? If you remove the intake manifold in order to get at the coil pack in order to remove the wires then I agree with Mike, change'um. You pretty much have to remove the intake manifold unless you have really small hands and fingers.
