This is your basic, no frills Disco. The vehicle has done 215K, but has a 0 miles, fresh transmission, 45k engine, and new steering. Transfer case was just changed out for another used but good one. There is modest rusty areas in the rear floor, but not so bad that it needs cutting out and welding in a new one. It's just your basic, shabby disco that will make a newbie a pretty good daily driver, or somone who wants to build up a real offroader. $2650

TerryS,
Is this a manual tranny or a slushbox?

It's a ZF4, rebuilt by a ZF specialist in Rhode Island. Not staying put in Park, not sure what that's all about, but Hi/Lo and Locked are all good

TerryS,
Ah, bummer, I was looking for one with a manual tranny.
Thanks,

Hey, for this price you should buy it and stick an R380 and pedal box in it. Actually, If it was a 5 speed, I would probably build a D100 3 door. See the RN newletter article about the the D100 project. It's a nice compromise.

I actually never saw a 96 manual, thought the last ones were 95. (US anyway)

Cheap 96 Disco is gone.

Thanks for all the interest guys, but it's sold. I tried to get Paul to trade me his '85 4 speed Rangie, but, he too, is a shrewed Scotsman. Thanks, Paul.
