Dude, those are winter tires, not offroad ones. You need MT's. Get some cheap Remmingtons (generic Dunlops) for about 89 - 99 bucks each. They are actually really great offroad.

But as far as winter tires go, those cheap tires are great! I am a tire snob from way back. New, new, new. If they don't have a blimp, they're not worth ****. Then I bought a set of Winterforces from a local vendor. I put them on the wife's D2. Went through the snow like gangbusters. $200 for a set of 4 snow tires for a Disco. My Nokian SUV's were way over twice that.

no....I already have BFG M/Ts....arguably the best.

I was just saying....for the traction that these look like they would provide......hey, they are cheap.

Plus...they have the M+S (mud and snow) rating......

True though....they might not be worth it....but frickjp sounds satisfied.


damn; that thing has the most siping ive ever seen on one tire.. :eek:
