Dear fellow roverers.... So I moved from NYC to Indy and of course took my Disco 2 with me. The car has 85K and I had it for 4 years. Runs great as no major issues other then 3 amigos. Today check engine went on and I opened the hood and see some red fluid looks like coolant but in the strange place looks like coming from the clamp of the hose...

I don't really know any good mechanics in Indianapolis but I wonder what it could be ....attaching the pics so any help would be appreciated.

need to replace the throttle body heater gasket. Easy fix, you can find a kit online, around $60

I'm not 100% that the CEL and the coolant leak are related. By the looks of it, the coolant has been leaking for a while. I would pull the codes to be sure.

Is the orange Dexcool coolant still in your cooling system?

Agreed on them not being related. The kit is Throttle Body Heater Plate Kit (Genuine Part # MGM000010) | Land Rover And Range Rover Fuel System Parts
and easy to install.

You should really flush your coolant system and get rid of the Dex-cool and replace it with green stuff at least.
