Cruise "control not permitted" after it rains

Title says it....Cruise control will error for a day or two after it rains, the works fine. Any ideas?

Something is wet? I would start with the obvious areas known for leaks. I would inspect your cowl for leaks, and traces of moisture in the cabin. After that you'll have to do some detective work.
