Hey everyone!
I know its possible to make you own steel bumper, so i was wondering if anyone who has done it could post some pics, plans or drawings, ideas, and some tips on what to do and not to do? would really like to start gettin my car ready for some offroad adventures!

This is relevant to my interests. Last weekend I took the damaged front bumper off of mine so I could take some measurements of the front clip. I then made a rough CAD model to use as I draw up a new bumper. I can send the model or some dimensions, but I make no guarantees for accuracy as I used a tape measure and a 2x3 as a straightedge. (When I decide on a final design I plan to make some full-size paper patterns to see how close it really is before cutting metal). Let me know if that would be useful to you.
