My Defender's first day out in 4 months, but it was still a tad warm, although where we were driving today was far enough inland to have no humidity

Basically 8 of us (5 Landies, 2 Jeeps and a bit of Jap Plastic) from ME4x4 were out to reccee for the Marshals' drive next Friday. Not quite the Empty Quarter but still some challenging terrain.

Some pics posted here (more to be added by the other guys later)

Thanks for the comments guys :D

Yesterday was an awesome day out and basically a reccee for next Friday's drive which is to test our Marshals for the upcoming 2006-07 season.

We run our club by grading drives and drivers for safety reasons, and although we have had a couple of rollovers in the past fortunately no serious injuries thanks to quick action by all those concerned at the time.

But I digress for those of you interested in a P38 project this baby has 3" OME lift, 4.6L, modified front and rear bumpers for good approach and departure angles adn a few other bits bolted on to make life easy off road.

This view of it unusually crested will give you a better idea
