new guy wiith a question
i have a 1999 d 2 and was wondering if a diff lock linkage from a 1999 d1would cause me any trouble , the T case and tranny are the same .......99 persent sure but it will be ok , but never hurts to ask

You will be fine , just make sure you get the rubber boot & boot plate ,& all the linkage pieces , or you will have to bend the linkage like I did

Yup
Shifter will work. I switched out the hi/ low mechanism from the d1 as well but I don't think it was a must.
Will also have to trim the original shifter plate. Assuming it is an automatic

thanks for your input and advice , cant wait to put that in the rover! so why didnt it come with a diff lock to begen with ?????
