Last week my oldest daughter had a crack up with her 2000 D2 backing out of the garage. She just caught the right front on the brick and cracked the piece of molding just below the right front bumper - the part that fits around the fog light and is the same color of the car. (I think they started making the molding this with the 2000s) Does anyone know if you have to replace the entire bumper or can this part be ordered and replaced seperately. Bumpers appear to be about $400-$500, but it looks like I should be able to replace this simple piece of molding.

Any advice/comments appreciated.

I believe you have to replace the whole bumper skin and don't forget to figure in painting into your estimate.
You might also watch E-Bay for people selling them.
There are also a number of Rover Web Sites that have classified areas.
Good luck,

What color is it? I might be willing to part with mine (the bezel around the fog lights correct?) I have a 2002 Silver D2. But really depends on when I can order my new TJM bumper. As I cracked the lower portion of my bumper on a snow bank.

BTW, look for an $1049.00 bill (before tax) for a new front bumper painted by a decent shop.

Bumper cover should run $681.00 wholesale.
Flex Additive for paint, $6.00
and the remainder in labor.
