Ok here is the question...I am in the process of puting a CDL and a snow plow  on my 2000 D2 I found a plow undercarrage that fits a 1999 D1 Does any one know if the frames are differant between the D1 and D2....if so what are the differances...i am most interested in the dimentions from the radiatator foward....thanks :drive:

They are different, but I'm not sure of the dimensions. Bumpers and brush guards are not interchangeable between the D1 and D2 so I can't imagine the plow will just bolt up.

I just bolted a DI bumper to my DII. All I had to do was trim about an inch off of the bottom of the grille. The frame horn dimensions are the same from DI to DII.

thats great

thats great any pix???
What is that on the hood in between the the lr?
What do you plan on doing with your old factory suspension? If you have not installed a HD lift your front end will be very low with the weight of the plow.

That is a mount for my GoPro camera.

I wasent planing any suspension changes this year the plow is a light weight plow it weighs 380 lbs ...compair to a fisher at 780....i plan on mounting the plow then if i need heaver springs i will consider a 2" lift i will build the frame to ajust for the lift...
do you know if there is a differance between the frames on a D1 To D2 from the front axle foward ??:drive:

I thought it was a mount for the MACK bulldog
Lol you might as well order that lift now.....save yourself the headaches
lift kit

no time to do a lift before the snow flies

the rover will only be used for my driveway i think she will survive the winter....its a light plow.. i will try and take pix of the install...frame fab
A d2, with a metal bumper and winch at around 280 plus pounds requires a lift, and don't say you don't have time to do a 2 hour jobs.
With the weight of that plow, trust me you will so low in the front and could even brake a coil.
lift

OK ill look into it what do you sujest i dont eant to kill my rideability with the plow off...:drive:
Just get a 2in ome hd you'll be fine and it'll handle all the wieght with no issue
If all your going to do is plow dont get the shocks just get the springs
Why not the shocks?
Well since it seems all he wants it for is plowing no need to have them....now if it were me I'd get them
