Hello,

I have acquired a 2000 Disco II with 128K miles on it. When I got it the Service engine light was on - and after checking the codes I found it had 8 codes all having to do with the oxygen sensors.

Replaced all 4 sensors and I am still getting 3 codes. p0140, p0141, and p0161.

I have checked several times to make sure they were all installed correctly and can't figure out what the problem is. I clear the codes and not even 10 miles later the service light comes back on.

I have been tinkering with cars since my first VW but the Disco II is very different creature and I really don't want to make things worse so any help will be greatly appreciated.

edit: sorry wasn't paying attention. that first piece was accident. my v.r. software carried over my cps response on a different thread.

Not at all seeing as how I have no idea what spacers you are referring to.

I got my work cut out for me on this vehicle I see.

I will admit that I didn't.

All connections now cleaned and greased.

The die electric was put on but I still have the same error codes. Anyone have any other ideas on what may be causing these errors?

Do you have a good scanner so you can read the actual signals from the 0'2 to determine what is wrong?

Yes I have a good scanner to read the codes, the codes were listed in my first post of this thread.

YES!!! The scanner is a Haweye from British Atlantic. Got a point to make or a question to ask about the codes being read??? Let me know what it is you are looking for and I will tell you.
